About Us
Brian and I opened Crossing's Deli in February of 2000. I started working in my dad's deli at the age of 12 and could do the service side of the business in my sleep. Brian majored in Finance with a Masters in Business. He loved the challenge of starting and running his own business. With my Masters in Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism, we thought we would make a great team.
We chose a train theme because we were located beside an active Norfolk Southern Line. Stop by for lunch and there is a good chance you will hear one of their trains rumble by. From the train puzzles lining the walls, to all the menu items with train names, we created a unique little deli that focuses on providing our costumers with great food, service and atmosphere.
Over the years our costumers have helped shape our menu and fill our store with train decor. Our children have helped too and have grown up with the deli. You just might catch them busing tables over the summers and holidays. Whether you dine in, take it to go, or let us cater your event, we strive to make our costumers happy. Over the years, we know lots of costumers, their families, and their orders. We are so grateful for every one of them and hope you will join that group, too.
